Muladhara Activation Meditation

Description:
The Muladhara Activation Meditation is a Yoga meditation that uses the bija mantra Lam together with Gyan Mudra to awaken and stabilize the energy of the root center. The hands rest on the knees in Gyan Mudra, with the tips of the index fingers and thumbs gently touching, creating an energetic seal that supports grounding, mental calmness, and meditative awareness. The deep vibration of the mantra resonates through the pelvis, lower spine, and pelvic floor, helping create stability, security, and connection to the physical body. The upright posture and steady breath encourage inner stillness while strengthening the foundation of the energetic system.
Chakras:
The repetition of the mantra strongly stimulates the Root Chakra (Muladhara), supporting grounding, stability, safety, and physical awareness.
To practice:
Sit comfortably in a seated position with the spine upright and the shoulders relaxed. Rest the hands on the knees in Gyan Mudra, with the tips of the index fingers and thumbs lightly touching and the palms facing upward. Close the eyes softly and bring awareness to the base of the spine and pelvic floor. Begin chanting the mantra Lam slowly and steadily, allowing the vibration to resonate through the lower body and spine. Keep the breath smooth, relaxed, and natural while maintaining grounded awareness at the root center throughout the meditation.
