Swadhisthana Activation Meditation

Description:
The Swadhisthana Meditation is a Kundalini Yoga meditation that uses the bija mantra Vam together with Dhyana Mudra to awaken and balance the energy of the sacral center. The hands rest softly in Dhyana Mudra, one hand placed gently on top of the other in the lap, creating a receptive and calming energetic position that supports inner flow, emotional awareness, and meditative stillness. The vibration of the mantra resonates through the pelvis, hips, and lower abdomen, helping release stagnant emotions and awaken creativity, sensuality, and fluidity within the body and mind.
Chakras:
The repetition of the mantra strongly stimulates the Sacral Chakra (Swadhisthana), supporting emotional balance, creativity, pleasure, and energetic flow.
To practice:
Sit comfortably in Sukhasana with the spine upright and the shoulders relaxed. Rest the hands in Dhyana Mudra in the lap, with one palm resting softly on top of the other and the thumbs lightly touching. Close the eyes gently and bring awareness to the pelvic area. Begin chanting the mantra Vam slowly and steadily, allowing the vibration to resonate through the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. Keep the breath smooth, relaxed, and natural while maintaining soft awareness at the sacral center throughout the meditation.
